One of SeaRoad Shipping's two ships, the Searoad Mersey, commenced 2008 with dry docking at Forgacs dry dock facility in Newcastle, where it underwent scheduled maintenance that would not be achievable whilst
the ship was waterborne
and trading.

Greenhouse Challenge Plus

SeaRoad Holdings was established to acquire the assets of Patrick Shipping and Patrick's Tasmanian forwarding businesses. These assets were offered for sale as a requirement of the ACCC for allowing Toll Holdings to acquire Patrick Ltd.

SeaRoad commenced operations on 25 March, 2007.

It is comprised of two operating companies, SeaRoad Logistics and SeaRoad Shipping, supported by SeaRoad Holdings for shared services.

SeaRoad established an Australia-wide network directly employing over 350 staff, who have many years of experience in the management and operation of all the business in which SeaRoad is involved.
