SeaRoad Shipping operates a dedicated cargo shipping service in Bass Strait between Tasmania and Melbourne. The company operates two roll on – roll off vessels which were designed specifically for operating in Bass Strait. Sailings are from both Melbourne and Devonport each evening, Monday to Saturday, plus a weekly call to King Island, with vessels arriving in port the next morning.
